Inveniam Group is delighted kick-off the INCUBIS H2020 project last week to promote #IndustrialSymbiosis in the EU. The three-year EU funded project will establish five regional Incubators in Barcelona, Hull, Norway, Dunkirk and North Germany, to facilitate better use of waste heat and cold from energy intensive industries. We will be working with of a powerful consortium of 8 partners from across 6 EU countries: IRIS Technology Group, Símbiosy, Sofies, University of Hull, Covestro, IZNAB Sp. z o.o and EYDE Cluster.
Eric Suñol, Nick Chapman and Paolo De Carli from Inveniam’s sustainability team all joined the two-day conference call. Although it wasn’t quite the same as a face-to-face kick-off meeting, all partners got to know each other a bit better and presented the activities that they would be leading in the project. Thanks to Georgios Chalkias from IRIS Technology Group for his excellent facilitation of the meeting and overall project coordination.
